Tough and hard-wearing, the Quick Coupler is made from steel, aluminium and high quality ABS plastic.

The MS QC 1 B has 2 parts. The base houses a 5/8" thread and attaches directly to your mic stand. The crown has a 3/8" thread on the top (just like most mic stands) so it can be attached to any microphone clamp or clip. The two parts simply clip together thanks to a clever, groove and ball plus hex lock design which is undone via a quick-release collar. If you leave the base attached to your stands and the crown mounted to your mic clips, swapping out microphones can be done in moments.

Of particualr interest to studios, hire companies, schools, colleges, and events production companies is the fact that extra crowns can be purchased separately (complete with 3/8" to 5/8" thread adaptor). This means that in situations where you have many more mics than stands, you can kit out your whole set up for less money, buying enough MS QC 1 B Quick Couplers to fit one to each stand, then buying enough extra Gravity MS QC 1 TB crowns to make sure all of your mic clips are kitted out and ready to go.
