With its 14" laminated maple Broadkaster body style, Gretsch's G6659TG Players Edition Broadkaster Jr. joins their impressive range of centre block guitars.
Classic looks and a unique tone are just two of many indisputable Gretsch qualities, and having more than its fair share of both, this guitar will certainly not disappoint. The chambered spruce centre block not only strengthens the guitar, but also enhances sustain and definition, whilst also limiting the likelihood of feedback at louder volumes - allowing its two Full'Tron humbucking pickups (designed with pickup legend Tim Shaw) to fully release every bit of that glorious Gretsch juice; there's plenty of classic Gretsch chime here, with balanced lows, and a pronounced mid response that's the perfect punch for overdriven amps. Add in a treble bleed circuit, no-load tone control electronics for additional sonic clarity, a lower-set neck for increased playing comfort, anchored Adjusto-matic bridge, and the essential Bigsby B7CP, and it becomes obvious that this Players Edition Broadkaster is ready to astound whether on stage, at home, or in the studio. Other features include a Standsard U shaped Maple neck with 12" radius Ebony fingerboard, GraphTech Tusq nut, and Gotoh locking tuners. A hardshell case is also included.
