The Gretsch USA Metal Snare Drum Series now includes two new models and thus covers the whole sound spectrum.
All USA Snare Drums have die cast hoops. 42-strand snare wire, centre knurl pattern and Gretsch Snap-in key holder.
The copper and bronze models also have a Gretsch Micro Sensitive throw-off. Copper is a relatively soft material and provides a warm, easy responding yet sharp and present sound. The sound quality is similar to wood and is perfect for powerful and clear playing.
Bronze is used for cymbals since many generations. It is very musical and its sound can be classified between brass and copper. The Gretsch USA Bronze Snare has a slightly deeper, darker sound than comparable brass models but is still rich in high-end and allows clear stick articulation.
