This is perfect. I was after a stand for my guitar and, as I already had a wall hanger from the same manufacturer, I realised I’d always been happy with it so I decided to take a chance with their stand. It really is a great piece of kit, really sturdy and also built in a way that prevents any kind of marking or damage to your instrument. The part that holds the guitar works in exactly the same way as the wall hanger. The weight of the instrument pushes the hanger down and that locks the guitar in place. The feet are solid and sturdy and even more so when the stand is actually holding an instrument, presumably because it’s constructed in such a way as the centre of gravity is exactly where it needs to be. I have a 6120, which is a hollow body electric. ( mine is the “Eddie Cochran” so it’s actually even more hollow than the usual 6120 as it has no bracing at all. ). I can’t speak for how this stand would be for a solid ( and heavier ) guitar as I don’t own one to find out. I would imagine that it would be even more sturdy with an additional load. All in all, I’m not sure that I could have got something better but I do know I could have got much worse! Highly recommended!

I think this is better than the previous model, which I unfortunately managed to leave at a festival a few weeks ago. The automatic neck grip seems more robust. A quality product. Based on the previous model I had no qualms about buying Hercules again.

This is an outstanding product (please forgive the pun), light, super stable and much easier to use than any stand that supports from the bottom of the instrument. Works well for heavy long scale basses; the auto grip system is completely fumble proof!
