Ibanez AAD300CE Dreadnought Electro Acoustic, Natural Low Gloss Overview
The Ibanez AAD300CE is part of the Advanced Acoustic series with a solid Sitka spruce top, a lightweight and more sustainable alternative to mahogany originating from Central Africa that produces a full, rich sound. It also has a 20-fret rounded fretboard to make playing smooth and comfortable, made from macassar ebony. It has a ‘Grand Dreadnought’ body shape which is slightly bigger than the typical body shape, and X-M bracing which provides a more powerful sound, and a Thermo Aged neck, which means it has been heat treated to make the neck more durable and strong. The Ibanez AAD300CE has an AP11 magnetic pickup which delivers a great response to the whole frequency range and enhances the guitar’s natural acoustic tone. There’s also a contact pickup which adds brightness and depth to the tone.
Overview by Ibanez
The Ibanez AAD300CE Advanced Acoustic represents an important step forward in the long and storied tradition of the acoustic guitar. In what amounts to a fully reimagined acoustic experience, these instruments were designed from the ground up to deliver a richer, brighter, and louder tone, with an unprecedentedly wide dynamic range. With slightly larger than typical proportions, we decided to name this new body shape the "Grand Dreadnought." This reinvented design achieves a superb, powerful sound, and thanks to the extensive consideration given to the ergonomics, it's extremely comfortable to play. The Advanced Acoustic series pushes the acoustic guitar to new heights, in a way that promises an exciting new experience for all players.
The AAD300CE features a Grand Dreadnought with Advanced Access Cutaway body, XM bracing, Dual Pickup system with AP11 Magnetic Pickup and Contact Pickup, dual outputs (mono/stereo), Thermo Aged neck, low oval grip neck, scalloped bridge and luminescent side dot inlays.
