Overview by GAK

The Ibanez MM7 is a fantastic seven-string electric guitar, made in collaboration with renowned session player and teacher Martin Miller. It’s essentially an evolution of the popular MM1, featuring the same top-quality components and construction with the addition of a Low B string - perfect for players that need an extended range.

Japanese Craftsmanship

From the get-go, you can tell the Ibanez MM7 is a beautifully-crafted instrument. Boasting a gorgeous African Mahogany body and stunning AAA Flamed Maple top, the MM7 has looks and tone in spades. Mahogany with a Maple top is a classic combo that provides a balanced tone, with plenty of depth and a pronounced mid-range.

Effortless Playability

The Ibanez MM-7 is primed for agile, virtuosic playing thanks to its AZ Oval C-shape neck and sculpted neck joint (which makes accessing the higher frets a breeze). The roasted maple neck also features jumbo stainless steel frets and Ibanez’s special S-Tech wood treatment, which enhances the tone whilst promoting stability and temperature resistance.

Highly Versatile

Martin Miller is praised for his dynamic approach and the MM7 reflects this aspect of his style, giving you a world of tones at your fingertips. Equipped with medium-output Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers and the innovative dyna-MIX 10 switching system (which uses coil-splitting to give you ten sounds to play with), the MM7 can pull off anything you throw at it whilst conveying the delicate nuances of your playing.

Top-Notch Hardware

Featuring premium Gotoh hardware, the MM-7 is more than ready for the most demanding of studio and performance settings. Super-stable tuning and precise intonation are catered for by the MG-T locking machine heads and a T1872S tremolo.

The Ibanez MM7 is a top choice if you need a pro-grade seven-string that will inspire you for years to come. You don’t need to be a Martin Miller fan to appreciate this incredible instrument!

Overview by Ibanez

Gotoh® MG-T locking machine heads

The Gotoh® MG-T locking machine heads achieve incredible tuning stability, cutting down string-changing time.

Gotoh® T1872S tremolo

The T1872S tremolo bridge features machined titanium saddles and a machined steel tremolo block for a quick response, thick lows and rich highs and its snap-in construction makes it easy to load a tremolo arm.

Seymour Duncan® Hyperion™ Pickups

Seymour Duncan® Hyperion™ Pickups feature a moderate output through Alnico-5 magnets to keep the clarity of the fundamental tone when using distortion and to deliver a clear pick attack. From treble to bass, the overall tonal balance is evenly adjusted and works well with various effect pedals.

AZ Oval C S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple neck

S-TECH special roasted treatment increases the wood’s stability, durability, water resistance and tolerance of temperature changes. The neck is sealed with an oil finish which helps make it feel similar to a well-played guitar neck.

dyna-MIX 10 switching system w/Alter switch

dyna-MIX 10 offers ten sound variations, and can easily switch from humbucker and single coil modes with the mini switch. The power Tap mode provides a realistic single coil sound despite its two humbucker pickup layout.

Luminlay side dot inlays

The Luminlay side dot position marks make it easy for players to see fretboard position marks when performing on dark stages.
