A beautiful Prestige RG crafted to the highest standards in Japan. Some stunning tonewoods in a semi-satin natural 'Flat' finish serve to both show off the wood grain and let the guitar 'breathe' and resonate more freely. The African Mahogany is topped with figured Sapele which is another African tonewood with similar characteristics giving this RG a powerful, vocal midrange that really cuts through in a band. The five-piece Maple/Walnut neck has the famous Super Wizard HP extra slim profile and has a bound Rosewood fingerboard with big Jumbo frets and the rounded fret ends which makes flying up and down the neck so comfortable.
The hardware is absolute top grade too- USA DiMarzio pickups with a Tone Zone in the bridge and Air Norton in the neck with some very clever switching enabling a variety of series/parallel/split coil tones. The trem is the legendary Edge bridge, often imitated but never bettered- this is the one that Vai & Satch use on their own guitars. Gold hardware rounds it off with a touch of class. Hardshell case included.
