Ibanez RGA42HPQM, Blue Iceberg Gradiation Overview
This is part of the RGA series which have solid arched carved tops and are some of the RG series’ most popular models This particular model has a striking Blue Iceberg Gradiation finish which is also on the headstock, which gives it a striking and unique look. It has a Nyatoh body and a Wizard III Roasted Maple neck, which is more wide and flat compared to traditional necks which makes it ideal for metal guitarists.
On the neck is a Jatoba fretboard with 24 jumbo frets, with the deep cutaways making it easy to access them all, and two DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers with a 3-way switch. It has luminescent side dots to make it easier to see fret numbers in low light settings, and off-set white dot inlays. This is completed with a Quilted Maple top, which provides a rippled wave effect, complimenting the finish to make it look like a beach meeting the sea from above.
