As with the majority of Ibanez’s offerings, the focus of the SR bass range is sleek, modern designs with comfortable and ultra-fast playability - and boy, do they deliver! The SR405EPBDX-TSU is built on a solid foundation of a Nyatoh body with a stunning Poplar Burl top and features a 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck for added stability. At the heart of the SR405EPBDX-TSU is a pair of proprietary PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups that are rich in harmonic detail and dynamic expression. They produce a strong signal and increase the response of the higher frequencies without sacrificing the low end. An Accu-cast B500 bridge ensures rock-solid intonation and allows for precise saddle adjustment.

5pc Maple/Walnut Neck - Multi-piece necks are incredibly stable and don't shift with changes in temperature and humidity. The combination of Maple and Walnut provides tonal clarity and a superior attack.
PowerSpan Dual Coil Pickups - Designed by Ibanez, these versatile pickups have a wide frequency range and a dynamic response, ideal for a variety of different playing styles.
Ibanez Custom Electronics - The 3-band EQ works in conjunction with a coil tap switch for maximum control over a wide variety of bass tones.
Jatoba Fingerboard - Jatoba produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end, making it a popular tonewood for guitars and basses.
Accu-cast B500 Bridge - The Accu-cast B500 bridge has adjustable saddles for variable string spacing by +/- 1.5mm, giving you complete freedom over your setup.
