New for 2018, the Ibanez SRFF806-BKS is the latest offering from Ibanez in their extended-range bass series. Utilising an fan-fret fretboard design and a multi-scale length, the 6-String SRFF806-BKS has enhanced playability and and even tension across the strings.

Built around a bolt-on design, the SRFF806-BKS has an Ash body and a 5-piece multi-laminate Jatoba and Bubinga neck capped with a Rosewood fretboard. The scale-length goes from a long 35.5" at the 1st string down to a short 33.6" on the 6th string and Mono-Rail V bridge saddles offer perfect intonation across each string. Black hardware and a satin stained finish complete the aesthetic of this fantastic bass.

Pickups come in the form of Bartolini BH-1's and the electronics are active Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band eq w/Eq bypass switch (passive tone control on treble pot) and a Mid frequency switch. Tonally the SRFF806-BKS is extremely versatile and perfectly suited to heavy rock, metal, jazz and progressive styles.
