Jackson Audio Amp Mode Boost Pedal Overview
Jackson Audio’s Amp Mode is an enhanced MOSFET transistor boost pedal and features the same circuit found in the universally acclaimed Prism pre-amp.
Rich MOSFET Boost
While MOSFET transistors are commonly found in boost circuits for their sweet tonal characteristic that’s very reminiscent of a guitar amp, they tend to make a crackling sound as the boost knob is manipulated. However, the Jackson Audio Amp Mode is totally silent as you rotate the boost knob - the only sound you hear is a delicious, harmonically rich and loud boost.
Tone Enhancer
The Amp Mode can be used in many ways, and each one will enrich your guitar’s signal. You can use the Amp Mode as a potent preamp/tone-enhancer that’s always on, a way to drive the input of a pedal & yield additional saturation and as a pure clean boost that can elevate your sound & push it to the front of the mix.
Streamlined Design
Jackson Audio have incorporated a streamlined and effective design with the Amp Mode, kitting it out with a single boost knob. With this knob at its lowest setting, the Amp Mode is acting as a unity gain buffer that preserves the high-end clarity and prevents tone loss when using a rig with lengthy cables. As you start to crank the boost knob, you gradually introduce a gorgeous clean boost.
Extra Headroom On Tap
You can run the Amp Mode at a traditional 9V or 18V for additional dynamic response and headroom.
The Jackson Audio Amp Mode is one of the best clean boosters out there and is an effective tone enhancer - wherever you place it in your rig.
