Melding classic style with modern materials and construction, the Jackson® X Series DinkyTM Arch Top Extreme DKA-R EX is another assertive step forward in the world of high-tech guitars.An exclusive, the DKA-R EX features a poplar Dinky body with an extreme beveled arch top and dramatic contours, including a shredder’s cut and handshake heel for maximum playing comfort. The bound maple neck features a scarf joint and graphite-reinforcement rods that hold up under the heaviest styles of playing, while the 12-16” compound radius laurel fingerboard is the ideal surface for technical styles, whether it’s brisk riffing toward the nut or speedy soloing on the upper registers.
Direct mount Fishman® Fluence® Modern PRF-MHB humbucking bridge and neck pickups give the DKA-R EX its monstrous bite, and can be adjusted to taste with a three-way toggle switch, volume control and tone knob, which features a push/pull selector for switching between modern ceramic and alnico magnet voicings. A Jackson-branded Floyd Rose® double-locking tremolo bridge system keeps the DKA-R EX in tune after each dive bomb.
This beast of an axe comes wrapped in either Gloss Black or Snow White with black hardware.
