The Kramer SM-1 H from the Original Collection brings the shred classic of the eighties into the modern age, with a straightforward pickup configuration that’s primed for the chunky, riff-heavy tones of Rock and Metal.

Based on the Kramer Stagemaster Mach II, the SM-1 H features a double-cutaway Mahogany body with a neck-through construction. Mahogany is a popular tonewood that’s known for its juicy, mid-rich sound. The Mahogany neck features a super-fast Kramer K-Speed SlimTaper C neck profile that’s perfect for swept arpeggios, extravagant tapping, elegant riffs and more. Topping the neck is a seriously smooth 12.6" radius Ebony fretboard and 24 frets for two octaves of expression.

For a truly hot-rodded tone, Kramer has equipped the SM-1H guitar with a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB humbucker in the bridge position. This classic pickup boasts an increased output and can be operated either in series or in parallel via the push/pull function of the volume control for extra tonal versatility.
