Robust Design

KRK have bestowed the Classic series with their trademark quality and robustness - there’s no doubt that these are top-notch studio monitors. Each model features an active (self-powered) two-way design and a 1" textile soft dome tweeter that’s paired with a glass aramid woofer for optimal sound quality. Quality Amplifiers

An essential part of any studio monitor worth its salt are its amplifiers and the KRK Classic series certainly delivers in this regard. Thanks to the custom bi-amped class A/B power amplifier, you’re guaranteed low crossover distortion and high headroom with every model in the series.

The internal class A/B amplifier has been carefully matched to the drivers, which provides you with a simple all-in-one monitoring solution and saves you from having to mess around with an external amp.

Onboard Limiter

There’s no need to worry about speaker-damaging peaks that come out of nowhere with the KRK Classic series thanks to a clever system-optimised auto-limiter. Instead, this auto-limiter also delivers consistent and clear sound at astonishingly high volumes.

Flexible Positioning

KRK have equipped their Classic series with front-firing ports, which gives you a lot more flexibility when choosing where to place it. An issue with rear-firing ports is that they can negatively affect the bass response when positioned near to a wall - that isn’t an issue with the Classic series’ front slotted bass port.

Sonically Versatile

A key advantage of the KRK Classic series is its dedicated low and high-frequency level adjustment controls. These controls greatly expand the sonic versatility and adaptability of these monitors, as you can dial in or reduce the low and/or high-end to fit your personal taste or your room’s acoustics.

Potent Bass

If low-frequency response and space conservation is important for you, you’ll be pleased to know that the KRK Classic 7 & 8 are both compact and output impressive low-end (37Hz and 35Hz, respectively).

Universal Connectivity

Integrating the KRK Classic 7 or 8 into your existing setup couldn’t be easier, as they’re kitted out with universal connectivity. With an XLR, 1/4" TRS and RCA input at your disposal, you can hook up your KRK Classic monitor to virtually any audio interface or mixer.

Volume Control

The handy volume control, which is located on the rear monitor, gives you the ability to fine-tune your overall monitoring level. Whether you’re doing some quiet critical listening or want to crank it up high for a DJ set, the KRK Classic series has you covered.

Iso Pads

Not everyone can afford expensive add-ons, bespoke desks or acoustic treatment for their home studio setup. That’s why KRK have added foam isolation pads to the bottom of each KRK Classic studio monitor. These pads serve two purposes, they protect the surface the monitors are residing and help to isolate the monitor from any unwanted vibrations that can occur.
