The Laney CXS-115A is a dedicated 15" powered sub designed to complement the CX range of PA cabinets. Twin ported cab design and "top hat" fitting for a pole mount feature. In addition to this, the CXS-115A features a 300 watt integrated power amplifier.  It offers massive growl and low-end whilst retaining impressive mids and highs for all-round audio detail. It is suitable for use with Laney CXT series models but also works with other passive units. The subwoofer is equipped with a 15” high-output driver and provides Level control and Phase switch for further sound shaping. It provides two 6.3mm jack connectors and an external speaker output. It features an all-wooden robust enclosure with kick proof metal grille.

Very smart looking, immensely powerful full bass added to my cinema tv set up. Fan is a bit noisy, but less so than a spinning bluray so no problems there, is giving an earth hum attached to my tv, but not noticeable when sound is going thru the system. Zero hum when the Jack plug is removed, so it could be an earth loop in my house. I really like it, but it is very ACDC sized and would look far more at home alongside a row of Marshall stacks than it does in a house. 23 inches high by 20x20, it's a monster speaker!
