For some time, the Stinger series from from LD Systems has been one of the most popular ranges of PA speakers on the market, blending exceptional build quality and superior sound with a very reasonable price tag.

Built to last from Polyurea coated 15mm ply and fronted with a steel grill, the LD Systems STINGER 15 A G3 is the largest of the active Stinger satellites and uses a highly efficient Class-D amplifer to deliver an impressive 500W (RMS) of power up and a massive max SPL of 133dB. The STINGER 15 A G3 offers 2 XLR and 1/4" mic/line switchable combo jack inputs, each with their own gain controls, feeding signal to the advanced amplifier section featuring LD System's proprietary DynX DSP technology. DynX DSP provides, crossover and a multiband limiter to ensure optimum sound in all conditions and gives the user 4 voicings for the speaker depending on application: full-range, satellite, monitor, and flat.

The combination of the 1" BMS tweeter and the custom-designed 15" driver team up to deliver powerful bass with fresh and natural highs. Using the Boundary Element Method to design the tweeter's wave guide, LD Systems have been able to maximise an even sound dispersion whilst minimising unwanted vertical reflections and preventing problems associated with the sidelobe levels inherent to many speakers.
