Helix 3.60 Update - New Amps, Cabs & Effects

The Helix 3.60 firmware update and Helix Native plugin software update bring new additions to the Helix and HX hardware devices. Three new amplifiers, including the Grammatico GSG, seven new guitar speaker cabinets, two new bass cabs, and two new effects are included in the update. These updates add to the already extensive range of sound options available to guitarists and bassists using Helix and HX hardware devices.

Go Beyond Your Pedalboard

The ability to store Snapshots allows you to instantly recall up to eight variations of a patch with zero dropouts - perfect for when you need to seamlessly transition between sounds during a song. If you’re a gigging function musician and need to go from Bon Jovi to Beyonce, with the Helix LT you can do it in a flash.

Because it has the same under-the-hood power as its siblings, it’s capable of running up to 32 “blocks” of effects/amplifiers/cabinets across four separate stereo paths - per preset. Combined with an arsenal of 300+ amps, cabs, fx and mics, you can construct the rig of your dreams. There’s the option to upload your own Impulse Responses for further customisation.

Lighting-fast Editing

The LT’s user interface is highly intuitive and makes editing a breeze. The crystal-clear 6.2" LCD display means you can see and edit all your signal routings without having to dive into menus as well as see how all the footswitches are assigned. With the twelve capacitive footswitches, all you have to do is touch one when you want to assign something to it.

Pedal Edit means you can tweak your tone on-the-fly, without having to stop playing. All you have to do is select the block you want to edit - which then spreads all the parameters across the board - then adjust setting with the built-in expression pedal.

The free Helix Edit software allows you to quickly and efficiently edit your presets on your computer using a drag-and-drop method. Putting together your complex signal chains has never been easier.

There’s no need to get rid of your boutique amps and pedals, as the Helix LT can seamlessly integrate into any existing rig. Thanks to two assignable effects loops, the Helix LT can be used to enhance your setup as well as replace it altogether.
