Line 6 PowerCab 112 Plus 250W 1x12 Active Guitar Cab Overview

A 1x12 active speaker system from Line 6, the PowerCab 112 gives you an authentic "amp-in-the-room" experience when paired with any modeller. Engineered to deliver superb results with any modeller, but, as one would expect, it is the perfect sonic complement to Line 6 Helix guitar processors, completing the chain—from guitar input to guitar speaker.

Guitarists can use Flat Mode to reproduce the sound of their modeller’s presets with a wide frequency range and the punch of a real guitar speaker, or bypass their modeller’s speaker cabinet emulation and use Line 6’s new Speaker Modeling technology to swap in models of any of six classic and boutique loudspeaker drivers.

The Powercab 112 Plus also includes powerful advanced features including; a 2 inch LCD, up to 128 spaces for presets, Midi In/Out, AES/EBU, a multi purpost second unit and a built in USB audio interface to record everything out of the cab.

The product is half the weight of my old line 6 amp, I thought it would be half the amp, Needs setting up, but once signal to noise and gain is adjusted to suit your rig it becomes a very nice amp, would be ok in a small live setup, but won’t be shedding anyone’s clothes in a large hall,

I use it with the Neural Cortex DSP( pity no you tube set up tutorials yet so far) Very Pleased With The Product, Software could be set out better, but I put it down to my age & unfamiliarity with it. I've bought a lot of Line 6 equipment over the years and apart from the DT-50 Power transformer debacle, have never regretted one purchase.

After what seemed like endless research into FRFR Speakers to go with my Amp and Cabinet Modeller I finally decided on a Line 6 Powercab 112 Plus. Extremely pleased with the quality of construction, sound and accompanying software. Highly recommended.

Haven’t had a gig yet but seems loud enough if you use proper gainstaging and make the light turn yellow. Speaker models are great, loads better than IRs etc. Has the amp in the room sound. After 4-5 days I’m very happy with it and am experimenting with the amps inside my Helix.
