A Compact Bodypack Guitar Wireless System

The Relay G30 instrument wireless system is compact and lightweight, while at the same time its rugged polycarbonate shell makes it dependably roadworthy. Refreshingly easy to use, the Relay G30 offers reliable performance whether the receiver is placed on your amp top or mounted to your pedalboard.

The Line 6 Relay G30 Wireless Guitar System has a broad frequency response of 10Hz G20kHz, plus a dynamic range of 118 dB, at ranges of up to 30 meters.

The Line 6 Relay G30 Wireless Guitar System avoids many kinds of signal interference by broadcasting over the 2.4GHz band. Plus, it employs exclusive signal protection technology for an additional layer of defence. Traditional wireless systems broadcast over congested UHF bands, and their signals may be forced to compete with interference generated by devices as far away as 160 kilometers, or more.

Ok electronically I give it a five star review, this is the second one I purchased, but build quality of the transmitter is complete crap, I had the first one six weeks before the belt clip broke off this time it didn't last two days so it's now help on with velcro...

Products actual functionality is great. Clear signal , great sound just a shame about the belt clip issue that appears to be a fault/weak point in this model.

Both me and my bassist use these. Plastic housing issues as mentioned by other reviewers aside, if you are looking for quality sound at a reasonable price the G30 is more than adequate for your average jobbing musician. No loss of volume, crystal clear signal, batteries feel like they last forever, tone is good (you lose a little bottom end/lose a smidgeon of the openness off an acoustic but that’s not a bad thing with a jumbo Gibson that nearly always needs a touch rolled off anyway. A good EQ at your amp or desk can remedy this) compact and unobtrusive. Some people say about the belt clip breaking after time. I can see how this may be an issue for someone changing straps/guitars a lot etc but I am a lady that thinks outside the box and I just leave a hairband looped a few times on the clip on my transmitter and then put the guitar strap through the hair and so the clip isn’t being bent on and off straps all the time and thus far it has made life a lot easier. I really can’t find fault with the system. No issues running two of the same products on the same stage just on different channels. Highly recommend. Saves you cables and standing on them in small cramped venues etc. A*****
