MIDI is a digital system so there is no need to use OFC wires in MIDI cables. (This also applies to HDMI leads etc.) The most important parts of cables carrying digital data are the connectors. The DIN connectors on these Lynx MIDI cables are certainly robust enough for permanent connections within a studio environment, but I wouldn't class them as "tour grade". If they are going to be constantly plugged in and unplugged, I would recommend using cables with Neutrik style connectors.

Basic, but useful. The cable is slim which is good for tucking out of the way or hiding in trunking.
