The Armory LA Fusion Shell Pack from Mapex is a 6 Piece pack from the drumming giants. The Pack combines birch and maple to create a fantastic resonant tone with some great warm mid frequencies.

The shorter tom depths give a much faster stick response and depending on preference can be tuned higher without sacrificing any. The deep bass drum produces a resonant kick that hits you right in the chest.

Additionally, it comes equipped with the punchy and dynamic Tomahawk Snare.

The kit includes; 22x20in Undrilled Bass Drum, 10x7in & 12x8in Rack Toms, 14x12in & 16x14in Floor Toms, 14x5.5in Tomahawk Snare Drum, TH687S Tom Holder x2 and AC910 Clamp x2.

Mapex Product Overview

The Armory Series is the latest realisation of the Mapex hybrid shell concept. A fusion of birch and maple delivers the ultimate tonal expression, and the SONIClear bearing edge allows the drumhead to sit flat, bringing out the best response by optimising the relationship between head and shell. The Insulated Bass Drum Claws include rubber gaskets that protect the hoop from damage and prevent rattling or buzzing during periods of extended play. 

The 6ply 7.2mm Birch/Maple/Birch Hybrid Shells deliver the ultimate in tone, resonance, and punch. They allow the drums to speak quickly and project clearly in the manner of old-world drum craftsmanship. The Floor Tom Legs with SONIClear Floor Tom Feet provide stable support while increasing overall punch and body, preserving vibration in the drumheads and shell and preventing energy transfer to the floor. 

On Armory kits that feature black hoops and fittings, the Black Electro-Plating Process results in a significant increase in finish durability compared to powder-coatings found on other kits. Virgin bass drums are standard with all configurations in this series, giving the kick sound increased body and low-end. Tom Arms and clamps are included for all rack toms, lending ultimate set-up flexibility to the player.
