Fast attack, powerful punch and fast decay is exactly what you need from Birch and that is what Mars delivers, when you hear it you'd be forgiven for thinking you're listening to a kit with an extra digit on the price.
Mars shells are completed with the new SONIClear Bearing Edge as found on the Armory series. SONIClear allows the drumhead to sit flatter and make better contact with the shell, resulting in a stronger and deeper fundamental pitch, effortless and significantly expanded tuning range.
Mars kits are supplied as shell packs but are best paired with the specifically designed, colour matched hardware packs. Lightweight yet highly functional stands and simple but sturdy pedals that will serve the needs of gigging drummers needing to lighten their load or younger players looking to make a major upgrade.
