Markbass Mini CMD 121P 400W 1x12 Bass Combo Overview

The Mini is our smallest 1x12 combo for acoustic or electric bass, mostly recommended for smaller clubs, studios and rehersal use. Jazz and acoustic players will especially enjoy the onboard VLE and VPF filters, which help give the Mini 121 combo a warm and natural sound. Don't be deceived by it's size - the combo may be mini, but the sound is huge!

Small (like a practise amp) and light (also like a practise amp, 11kg) but with the sound and power of a large heavy amplifier (300w with great low end). Can be carried one handed with your bass and stand (etc.) in the other hand. Ideal for the gigging musician. VERY IMPRESSED. Not cheap but saves having two separate amps so good value overall. Highly recommended!

I tried many small amps out and found the CMD 121P to be the best. It is amazing for its size. I already had the Markbass Players School 15" combo and was concerned that the smaller speaker would not be as warm. While the 15" speaker is slightly warmer at low volumes I found in a group setting the CMD 121P is tighter and perfect for cutting through. I use the EQ flat and the VLE and VPF and it it provides clear sound at all volumes with both my active and passive basses. Very pleased with it as it fits into the back of my hatchback without having to put the seats down.
