Meinl Byzance Sand Hi-Hats, 14in
Meinl Product Overview
The sandblasted surface, various hammering techniques, and noticeable weight difference between the top and bottom cymbals combine to create an unmistakably crispy and articulate sound.
Combing a vintage sound and look with a modern, transparent sound and clarity.
- Benny Greb Signature hi-hat
- With its sandblasted surface, the various hammer techniques used and a noticeable weight difference between top and bottom cymbals, this hi-hat produces an unusual but articulate overall sound.
These are great hihats. Nice precise foot chick sound, dark, dryish stick sound but not too dry. They have a played-in quality about them - perhaps like an old pair of 60s New Beats. If you are looking for a bright set of HHs that will cut through a dense loud mix, look elsewhere. These dark-sounding HHs will sit beautifully within the mix. I would highly recommend them!!!
