What we have here is a truly unique opportunity for an individual, studio or institution. The Moog Modular System 55 was the most iconic Moog synthesiser ever produced. Arguably the most important electronic instrument in history, its impact on music and technology cannot be overstated.
This particular unit was produced by Moog in Ashville NC in 2016 and has been fastidiously maintained since new by its engineer owner. The unit comes complete with the Moog 953 Duophonic Keyboard in matching Appalachian walnut. Moog patch cables are all present as are the S-Trig cables.
This particular System 55 goes up another notch in collectability and uniqueness in that it has been hand-signed by electronic musical legend Jean Michel Jarre.
The system will be shipped in its original fitted shipping crates. has the instruction book, certificate of authenticity signed by Mike Adams, Moog Music's CEO and is complete with the module list with individual serials for each module.
