The MXR MC406 CAE Bufferis for all those times you need to run your signal from your instrument to your amp though long cables or through a large pedalboard stuffed with pedals of dubious impedance. In those times there's bound to be some signal degradation and putting the MC406 Buffer in your signal chain will sort this and get your tone back to where it should be.The MXR MC406 is a low-noise buffer in a road-tested tough, compact housing and with an optional boost of up to +6dB of gain on the front-facing gain slider it can be used to make up for signal loss that happens when you combines lots of different impedances in a row on your board.
The MC406 Buffer is a mighty utility with a small footprint and makes a great addition to any large board or long cable run.
