The Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2 DJ Controller is more than just your average plug and play DJ device, it's an entire DJ system that includes an advanced 2-deck DJ controller, built-in 96 kHz/24-bit audio interface and the world renown Traktor Pro 2 DJ software.

Fully developed for use with both Mac and PC, the Traktor KONTROL S2 MK2 is packed with advanced hardware arranged in a compact, redesigned layout developed for seamless Traktor integration via your computer, or via pairing to your iPad or iPhone with Traktor DJ.

Take control of your mix using the S2 MK2's two channels and pro-grade mixer, featuring intuitive 3-band EQ, specialized DJ effects and two intuitive cue point/remix deck panels.

Sync track BPM's using the transport panel for perfect beat-matching and use the two high-resolution aluminium jog wheels for fingertip position adjustments and scratching. The S2 Mk2 also boasts robust EQ/FX knobs and ultra-bright RGB backlit buttons that allow you to see exactly what you are doing, even in the pitch dark.

Above your main two channels, shared gain/filter knobs are simple to toggle and provide a classic filter effect to elevate your mixing even further. The tempo-adjust faders feel very smooth with 0.1% adjustment for excellent accuracy adjusting your tracks, their positioning on the furthest left and right points of the controller mirrors the positioning found on CDJ's and turntables.

Integrate the remix deck in Traktor Pro 2 to introduce your own samples, easily switchable via the S2's centred remix deck control, using A and B buttons you can toggle between remix deck and channel 1 & 2 cue buttons.

The S2 MK2's browser encoder wheel allows you to navigate through your music and folders within the Traktor Pro 2 DJ software. Located in the very centre of the S2 console, the wheel allows you to quickly access and assign your tracks to either channel, without taking your hands away to operate your computer.  

Applying flux mode, found above the tempo adjust fader, allows you to scratch, trigger cue points, samples and more as the track silently continues to play, seamlessly cutting back into the mix as soon as you stop.

Browse through the 30 effects within the Traktor Pro 2 and use up to 6 effects on one deck at any time, via the dedicated FX knobs found above both jog wheels on the console. 

The S2 MK2's integrated audio interface pumps out your tracks in 24-bit 96kHz audio. On the rear face, the S2 MK2 has a microphone input with its own dedicated volume control knob plus a brand-new booth and main control output section featuring separate RCA output with assignable booth/main level control.

The S2 MK2 can run solely on USB bus power without the need for powered connection, however, if you do decide to use the rear-facing 15V power input with the included plug, you will get brighter LED and RGB backlit button displays.
