The Numark Orbit is the world's first Wireless Handheld DJ controller, a revolutionary piece of kit for the performance dj and more.The Numark Orbit transmits MIDI signals wirelessly to your mac/pc and has 16 ultra responsive, backlit pads on 4 selectable banks, two shoulder buttons and 4 virtual knobs, with similar build to that of a games console controller. The Numark Orbit is designed with user in mind, it has easy button access and is made to be held in the hands, worn round your neck or can be snuggled into an existing setup without taking up too much room.
The internal Axis Accelerometer adds a whole new performance aspect to your set; the accelerometer can be mapped to any of the software parameters, like filters, panning, giving your audience an eye pleasing show.
The Orbit can be used for adding or blending effects: launching hot cues or samples and tweaking and refinement control is handled by the large aluminium touch-sensitive control wheel which controls the selected virtual knob. It's also fully MIDI-mappable and can be connected via USB or low-latency wireless.
