Exceptional finish and limited top wood
Australian Blackwood aka Acacia Melonoxylon belongs to the acacia genus and has become a popular wood for instrument making. This strikingly marked wood is often used for tops, sides and backs by elite luthiers in particular. For the 2023 Edition, we chose an attractive black burst finish that harmonises well with the dark grain of the wood.
