Ozark 3372-6 High Strung Nashville Tuning Overview
The Ozark name has built up a reputation for outstanding instruments whose finish and specification are of the highest standard. Ozark Instruments offer great quality, value and performance at affordable prices. This is an absolutely stunning instrument as usual from Ozark, the 3372-6 Nashville Tuned High Strung Guitar is ideal for anyone looking for a quality instrument with a high spec at a very affordable price and with a refreshingly unusual tone!
The cutting volume from this guitar is quite amazing thanks to its excellent solid cedar top and high tuning, the lower 4 strings are tuned one Octave higher than standard guitar tuning. The sound is a cross between a Mandolin, Autoharp and a 12-string guitar.
It sounds incredible when playing or double tracking with another guitar. The Pink Floyd song "Hey You" from The Wall is probably one of the best known Nashville tuned guitar songs where Dave Gilmour actually replaces the low E with standard high E string effectively making it 2 Octaves higher than standard tuning.
