Palmer DACCAPO Re-Amplification Box Overview

Palmer DACCAPO Re-Amplification Box

Re-amping is a key tool used in professional and home studios across the world. It's an industry standard practice to record not just the sound of an amp when recording guitars, but also to record the 'dry' guitar sound on a separate channel at the same time (a DI box is the perfect tool for this). This enables the engineer to feed the dry signal back out to another amplifier without needing the guitarist to be there, which means the engineer can experiment with any number of guitar amplifiers, setups and microphones to make sure they achieve the perfect sound for that record.

What the Palmer DACCAPO does, is ensure optimal impedance matching of the pre-recorded dry signal so it works best with the new amp setup - just like plugging in a live guitar. It features a switchable ground lift and a volume knob to control the level of the re-amping signal going to the amplifier. Made from powder-coated sheet steel, the Palmer DACCAPO is built to last - an essential tool for any studio engineer or producer.
