Rest assured that every item is backed by Pearl's Lifetime Warranty; an unmatched promise in the drum industry. Don't miss your chance to add these "instantly collectible" instruments to your arsenal.

The new Chad Smith Free Floater (CS1465F) snare is a crowning achievement in true percussive perfection. Taking its name from the Latin term meaning "I Came, I Saw, I Conquered", the drum's three interchangeable 3mm rings are housed in Pearl's Free Floating snare frame.

This not only allows for multiple tonal combinations when stacked in different order, but also for total resonant freedom from attachment hardware. "I've finally found MY sound," Chad proclaims, "Three rings of power! This one does it ALL!"

Only 50 snares will be available in the US.
The Certificate of Authenticity and autographed drumhead are a US promotion only.

A tricolon is a sentence with three clearly defined parts of equal length, usually independent clauses and of increasing power. One of the most famous examples pf a tricolon was inspirational for Chad... "Veni, Vidi, Vici" ( "I Came, I Saw, I Conquered") by Julius Caesar

Surprised to this snare drum in stock. I jumped on it immediately. Excellent quality and great combination of brass and steel sound characteristics. Pearl claims a signed drum head by Chad Smith and certificate of authenticity included with snare drum purchase, but nothing was in the box except for the new snare drum and drum key. Box was completely sealed and stapled by manufacturer. I unboxed it myself. It's a Pearl over promise issue.
