Had this for just over a week now and I absolutely love it. I've mostly used Peavey gear historically cos I find you can't go wrong with them. I've not had chance to blast it at band practice yet but I've used it in the house. Active neck-thru Bass running through a Phil Jones 400w 4 x 5 and a TC Electronics 400w 2 x 12 and I haven't been brave enough to turn it up past 3 for fear of having to replace my windows (and possibly the neighbours as well) which is not to say that this amp is all volume and nothing else, far from it, the Psycho-Acoustic button underneath the main volume control has to be heard to be believed, it gives such a rich bass boost without any boom or muddiness and the boost buttons for each of the 3 eq's (bass , mid and treble) are sweet as a nut too, I have each of the eq controls set between 1 and 2 o'clock and the sound is just awesome. Can't wait to test it out in practice.

Surprising power from this small amp. The sound enhancing buttons really add punch and clarity. Tone controls are subtle but shape the sound. Able to use standard jacks for speakers. Natty carry bag. All for a little over £300. I love Peavey gear and reliability is rarely an issue.

Great amp. Ideal for my lad who is just getting into the world of Bass playing Loud as, user friendly. Light weight. Tough. Oh and his name happens to be Max too. Bonus!!!
