The Feel of A Nightclub System, With The Flat Response of A Studio Monitor
The modern musician now needs their set up to be able to make a wide variety of music and seamless switch between different musical applications. The active VM-50, VM-70, and VM-80 monitors each provide clear audio with fast-attacking, punchy bass, creating a “club feel” whilst maintaining the flat response needed from a studio-style monitor.
Thanks to the flexible DSP settings within each VM Series Monitor, the speakers can be tuned to perfectly suit the characteristics of any room you need to listen to music in. Among the 16 different DSP combinations, users can optimise the monitors to recreate a club sound when DJing or adjust them to provide a flat frequency response, which is essential when producing music in a home or professional studio setting.
Each VM Series Monitor has 4 DSP settings for the low-end frequencies and 4 for the Highs, combining 1 Low and 1 High setting simultaneously.
The ability to adjust how the monitors sound makes the VM Series one of the most versatile ranges of monitors on the market. Whether you are live streaming your DJ sets to friends and fans online, rehearsing your live DJ set or creating your next masterpiece, the VM Series is an all-in-one solution to achieve the perfect settings for each of these uses. No matter what room or environment you are using your VM Monitors in, you can recreate the feeling of playing in a club and fine-tune your mixes as if you were in a professional studio.

Striking Looks And Premium Components
Pioneer DJ have a reputation for listening to their users and delivering products designed from their requests, recognising that, as well as studio-grade sound, aesthetics are important.
The VM Series unique design makes your home setup look as if you are standing in the booth in a club, veering away from what other manufacturers overlook when creating monitor speakers. The design is not just based on looks, as the hexagonal baffle positively impacts the performance of the speaker. The 4mm-thick brushed aluminium plated hexagonal baffles on the front of each VM Series Monitor hold the drivers in place, whilst also preventing noise interference between the front and back of each driver. The baffle has even been treated with Alumite, making it extremely hard to wear and highly efficient at suppressing resonance and reduces unwanted cabinet vibrations. The beautifully made cabinet is both to be admired and aids the VM Series to deliver the authentic sound of whatever you run through them.
The brand-new design of the VM Series Monitors includes the highest quality components and Pioneer DJ’s most innovative features to deliver “pure” audio. The VM Monitors are voiced flat, driven by Class D amplification and feature Aramid fibre cones, which allows each monitor to accurately reproduce the sound of the original source.
To provide a tight low-end and avoid unwanted vibrations and “flabby” bass sounds, the VM Series feature a Bass Reflex Port, named Vortex Bass Accelerator. The fins that run around the edge of The Vortex Bass Accelerator have been mathematically positioned 10mm apart, sitting 2mm proud of the port to “straighten up” and accelerates the airflow to prevent distortion or rustling, whilst ensuring the low end remains tight, clear, powerful and punchy.
