PRS SE Paul Allander signature, Mk1 Emerald Green Burst 2010, Second-Hand Overview
Paul Allender, renowned as the lead guitarist for Cradle of Filth, has a rich history with the PRS SE Signature series. His affiliation with PRS guitars commenced when he departed from Cradle of Filth to form The Blood Devine. During this period, he acquired a secondhand CE24 which he exclusively used throughout the band’s tenure. When he later rejoined Cradle of Filth in 2000, he brought this CE24 with him.
Notably, Paul collaborated with PRS to craft a unique design, featuring a distinctive purple and black sunburst finish on a curly maple top. This design also incorporated a departure from PRS’s traditional bird inlays, opting for bat inlays instead. PRS manufactured this custom guitar for Allender through their Private Stock department, eventually serving as the inspiration for his original SE model released in 2007.
The updated SE Paul Allender Model now offers additional features including a striking Scarlet Red color option, nickel hardware, an ebony fretboard, and the inclusion of EMG pickups.
