PRS S2 Custom 24, Fire Red Burst
The S2 Custom 24 range is the entry-level version of the American ‘Core’ PRS series. They have the 85/15 ‘S’ treble and bass pickups with 3-way pickup selector, PRS patented tremolo and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with bird inlays.
S2 sits above the SE variants in the Custom 24 range, which are designed to be more affordable than the Core range. The main differences are that the neck on the S2 Custom 24 is made from mahogany and has a ‘Pattern Regular’ neck shape which is similar to the industry standard ‘C’ shape. The neck on the SE Custom 24 neck is made from maple and has a ‘Wide Thin’ shape.
Designed around the guitar that started it all, the Custom 24, this limited-edition model in a McCarty Sunburst finish captures the foundational elements of the iconic model and adds the musical functionality of the Paul’s Guitar, creating a new, versatile platform.Custom 24
