PRS SE Custom 24-08, Eriza Verde
The Custom 24 is used by touring musicians and aspiring musicians since its introduction to the market in 1985, where it has been a top seller ever since. The SE Custom 24-08 has eight different pickup settings that provide a wide range of humbucking and single-coil tones through the two mini-toggle coil tap switches.
This model has a unique Eriza Verde finish, a mahogany back, a Maple top with a shallow violin carve and striking flame maple veneer. This model also features a maple ‘wide thin’ neck topped with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard, and a PRS patented tremolo.
For pickups it has a ‘TCI’ “S” treble pickup, and a TCI “S” bass pickup, with the option for 8 different pickup configurations to get a huge range of sounds. To complete the look are bird inlays, signature headstock logo and nickel hardware.
The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar: the iconic guitar that started it all back in 1985. The Custom 24-08 keeps all the foundational specs of the instrument, while taking the Custom platform to new sonic territories. Like the Core Series instrument, the SE Custom 24-08 features two mini-toggle coil tap switches that individually split the humbuckers into true single coils for a total of eight pickups configurations. Classic design elements include a maple top, mahogany back, rosewood fretboard, 24 frets, 25” scale length, bird inlays, signature headstock logo, and PRS patented tremolo.
