The Heart of the Tone At the core of the PRS SE Silver Sky’s distinctive tone is its solid Poplar body, which offers exceptional resonance and a well-balanced tonal character. Classic Playability The smooth and inviting playability of the PRS SE Silver Sky is attributed to its bolt-on Maple neck. This neck is carved to the original 635JM neck shape, shared with the US-built version, and features a traditional 25.5" scale length. The profile of this neck was meticulously designed following extensive research by Mayer and PRS, who tested a variety of vintage instruments. The result is a neck that offers the best of classic neck profiles and is incredibly comfortable to play.
