Fitted as an upgrade to existing original snare wire which came on drum kit. Sounds much better and able to adjust to eliminate buzz. The webbing straps supplied are clearly marked with measurements to assist in centering the wires, essential to a good sound. Take time getting it central and straight, makes all the difference. Comes with quick release R clips to go in the straps, between the two close together white stitching. This leaves a tab sticking up to hold when replacing the snare wire, then just pull the R clips out for a quick change (after releasing the strainer) without loosing your previous settings. Came with a spare R clip which I left in the tab sticking up ready for when needed. Highly recommended.
