Much more effective than I was expecting, retains a really good sound but removes a lot of the boom so perfect for quieter practice.

No amount of soundproofing was going to bring the noise from my son's pearl drum kit to an acceptable level tried these drum heads as a last resort... absolutely brilliant. Feel great with low noise levels
