Rivolta Combinata I, Rosso Red
Rivolta Combinata I, Rosso Red Overview. No fancy binding or inlays, no switches, no trem arm...no problem. This is the COMBINATA I. Stripped and ready to rip! This bare-bones version of the classic COMBINATA gives you all that's necessary to get the job done with its single "Novanta" P90 pickup in the bridge position, C+ neck profile and 24 frets across a 25" scale. The Combinata I shares the same silhouette as its big brother and a chamfered edge carve to the top, but is perhaps something closer to the original Dennis Fano RB6 - a solid-body, not chambered model.
Taking his original inspiration from the 1954 Combo model electric guitar, Dennis Fano created his celebrated RB6 prototype in 2006 which retained the Combo's small body size and featured a single P90 pickup, 6 in-line tuners and a German carve that exteneded from the upper horn to under the leading edge of the pickguard. Almost a decade later, the COMBINATA is the latest re-imagining of this design by Dennis Fano. Featuring an enlarged, offset body design, the COMBINATA I feels more ergonomic than Dennis Fano's previous design. The chamfered edge carve adds comfort and decreases the weight substantially and the pickguard adds classic jr styling into the mix.
