Roland AIRA TB-3 Bass Synth Overview

ROLAND TB-303 overview by GAK.

The original Roland TB-303 Bassline was THE sound of acid house from its birth in the late 80s up to the present day. Much maligned upon its original release the TB-303 found fame for its unique weird squelchy liquid analogue sound. Simply nothing at all sounds like a 303, apart from the all new digital incarnation from ROLAND the AIRA TB-3. Finding its place neatly in ROLANDs superb AIRA range it is a versatile Bassline emulator with a digital heart and modern features including USB connectivity for MIDI sync and audio integration with your DAW. Its versatile touch based interface makes programming and performance an absolute breeze, while its internal effects add polish and sparkle. Plus ROLANDs fabulous new SCATTER effect makes a welcome appearance too. Sonically the ROLAND AIRA TB-3 is not limited to 303 emulation. It packs many and various other bass sounds and effects inspired by ROLANDs classic 101, 202 and Juno series of synths as well.

Be sure to check out our exclusive video featuring the ROLAND TB-3 by James Wiltshire from the FREEMASONS and F-9 audio.

Great intuitive machine. Dovetails easily and quickly with TR-8 and Aira range. A more detailed manual with DAW and Midi connections would give this five stars
