Roland PDX-12 Mesh Snare Pad, 12in
Roland PDX-12 Snare Pad, 12in
Realistic pads for uncompromising performance Some electronic kits use much smaller pads than you’d typically find on an acoustic kit – but because the drumstick has to hit the centre of each drum, these smaller pads can actually feel further away from you. This is especially true if you’ve moved from playing a 14-inch acoustic snare to an 8-inch rubber pad.
The 12-inch dual-mesh PDX-12 snare is tension-adjustable for authentic and satisfying rebound, while the height of the snare hoop is much closer to that of an acoustic snare so you can hit an open rim shot with a natural stick angle.

Added this to my TD-4KP as an upgrade on a smaller mesh pad. Yes, it looks big on the kit, but it works great. The dynamic sensitivity is better and it's good just having a larger playing surface for the snare. Also allows for a much more natural use of cross-stick.
Bought this to use as a snare, excellent pad for the price.
Excellent works perfectly with Alesis kit.
Great Snare drum (Rookie drummer).
I upgraded to this from a pdx-8 and it is a big improvement. The rim click sensor is much better and it feels more like a real snare, especially when you put it on a nice sturdy snare stand. Great value for the money too
