Satin black finish is beautiful. Holds it's tuning really well. Dynamic pick-ups have a really bright, lively tone in the treble and thick, resonant envelope in the bass. For such a reasonably priced guitar the tonal range is excellent. Action is low and because the fretboard is pretty flat all the way along it's length, that combination makes the guitar really easy to play, even given the extra width of the 7 string neck. My only very very minor criticism is the pickup selector switch, which doesn't give you that satisfying click when you switch it - makes it feel slightly inferior quality. It functions perfectly fine though so like I say, a very minor niggle. If you like your metal heavy and in your face, this is a great guitar for the money.
