Overview by GAK

Schecter is renowned for crafting electric guitars with powerful tones, silky-smooth playability, striking aesthetics and the capability to be played across the entire frequency range. This makes them the perfect choice for guitar players that need to play huge riffs low down on the neck or face-melting solos at the top end. Regularly seen used in more aggressive and heavier music, Schecter is a spectacular choice among Metal, Hardcore, Punk, Prog and Alternative guitar players.

The Nick Johnston Traditional HSS is part of Schecter’s Artist series, which are faithful replicas of renowned guitarists own models, with custom features and finishes.

This model has an Alder body, a roasted maple neck with a thin ‘C’ profile topped with an Maple fretboard with a 14” radius and 22 extra-jumbo frets. It also features Schecter locking tuners, a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, which delivers increased harmonics, richness, and helps keep your strings in tune, and a Diamond Vintage Tremolo bridge which gives it a vintage vibe. It has a 25.5” scale length and comes with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010-.046).

For pickups, it has 3 Schecter Diamond pickups. At the bridge is a Schecter Diamond ‘78, which provide plenty of clarity as well as aggressiveness, and at the middle and neck positions, there are Schecter Diamond Nick Johnston single-coil pickups, which are powerful and sparkly with great articulation in both clean and overdrive settings.

To complete the Nick Johnston Traditional HSS are subtle brass circle inlays, chrome hardware, off-white pickguard and is available in classic Atomic Green and Atomic Coral finishes.
