Schecter Solo-6B, Silver Sparkle, Special Order Overview

The Schecter Solo-6B, seen here in Silver Sparkle, is a sparkling example of Schecter’s incredible Retro series.

Schecter Tone, Old School Looks

The Retro series features the same quality and construction from Schecter’s most popular lines but with specialised development to fit the unique requirements of niche guitar players.

Schecter Crafting

The Schecter Solo-6B has been carefully crafted for excellent playability while retaining classic design and aesthetics.

The body has been crafted from Mahogany and the set-neck construction features a Mahogany 3pc neck.

Aboard the neck Is a traditional Rosewood fretboard adorned by abalone and pearloid tempest split crowns for an eye-catching yet classy look. For increased ease of playing, the fret size is X-Jumbo.

Finished with a beautiful ‘Silver Sparkle’ colouring, the simple cutaway design and retro looks makes the Solo-6B reminiscent of the Gretsch Pro Jet.

High-End Hardware and Electronics

Schecter have equipped the Solo-6B with a Graph Tech XL Ivory TUSQ nut. TUSQ is precision engineered under high heat and pressure to enhance the frequencies that remain in the guitar strings, resulting in fantastic sustain.

A perfect example of the Schecter Retro series Solo-6B, and the retro-looks meets modern playability philosophy can be found in the Grover Rotomatic tuners that the Solo-6B has been equipped with.

These rock solid machineheads are an upgraded version of the original Rotomatic tuners with improved, higher ratio gearing. The new 18:1 ratio provides you with extremely fine tuning with greater stability. The finer gears used provide a much smoother tuning action a higher degree of backlash elimination.

This new version of the Grover Rotomatic tuners uses the exact same housing as the original model but with all the modern, upgraded gearing inside.

Completing the classic, retro-look and adding that special sound that only this type of hardware can – a Bigsby B50 tremolo has been installed. Made from die-cast aluminium, the Bigsby adds an extra layer of retro-cool, visual flair while giving you that peerless, classic tremolo effect – fantastic for country, blues and vintage rock-style playing.

Schecter have installed their own Schecter Diamond Alnico Plus pickups in both the bridge and neck positions. These are high quality humbucker style pickups which accurately reproduce your playing style and the tone of your strings while eliminating hum and interference so you get a pure tone.

Two volume controls, a push-pull tone control and 3-way pickup selector switch allow you to have full control over your tone.
