Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder Exotic, Ziricote Overview

The Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder has a beautiful Ziricote top and Black Limba body, which is similar to mahogany but has a brighter, more open sound, and deep cutaways to give you easy access to the upper frets. The neck has a Thin ‘C’ profile which makes it great for speedy playing and is made from Wenge which provides incredible durability as well as a bell-like sound. This is topped with an ebony fretboard, which also adds to the overall durability, and has 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets, with a 12”-16” compound radius - so it’s 12” at the nut and flattens out to 16” at the end.

The Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder also has a Floyd Rose 1500 Series tremolo and Grover Rotomatic tuners for increased tuning stability.

For pickups, it has a Sunset Strip humbucker at the bridge which lives up to the ‘Super Shredder’ name - delivering an aggressive tone, great sustain, and uses a ceramic magnet that delivers better dynamics to let you cut through the mix. On the neck is a Pasadena humbucker which is slightly overwound for additional output and a classic PAF-style tone. Combined, these are great for playing almost any genre.

To complete the Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder is aluminium off-set ring inlays, luminlay side markers for low-light conditions, black hardware, and natural satin finish. This is a great opportunity to get a guitar that uses beautiful exotic tonewoods without needing to shell out for a custom model.
