Founded by Dave Smith in 1974, the company was originally known as Sequential Circuits and were at the forefront of synth technology. Their first synthesizer, the legendary Prophet 5, was the first fully-programmable polyphonic synth and has featured on a huge number of classic tracks. Since then, Dave Smith’s creations have helped to shape the world of music as we know it.

Today, Dave Smith and the team at Sequential remain at the forefront of the synth world and continue to create truly inspiring instruments.
