The Seymour Duncan Seth Lover Set is a fitting tribute to the man who made the humbucking pickup. Seth Lover Seymour Duncans are just like the original 1955 P.A.F.s, featuring butyrate plastic bobbins, plain enamel wire, Alnico 2 bar, wooden spacer, and black paper tape. Just like the original the pickup is not wax potted which results in a "honky" microphonic quality which is super cool. If you're looking for the original, look no further than the Seymour Duncan Seth Lover Set!

I just wanted no frills, old-school pickups. These fit the bill, and sound fantastic. Quite different sounding to high output modern humbuckers. Mellower. But with plenty of character. Much quieter(hum and interference) than my standard Gibson 490R and 490T pickups, but I did take the opportunity to shield every cavity with copper tape whilst the les was apart. Also wired 50's style, ditching the circuit board. It's basically triggers broom!
