Its omnidirectional pickup pattern enables optimum off-axis operation and the frequency response range (200 to 5,000Hz) provides intelligible vocal reproduction. The 596LB has a durable push-to-talk switch which enables easy operation and withstands the wear and tear of daily use. It has been designed to fit comfortably and naturally in the palm of your hand and is small, light and sturdy.
